Need help deciding which universities to apply to
I want to study Psychology & I have set my Entry to be around BBB-CCC but most likely to be at least BBC.
I've looked at Glamorgan, Coventry, Hull, Roehampton, Keele & Lincoln along with a few others but these are the main ones. My back up is somewhere like London South Bank who require 240points.
My problem really is location & reputation, like Glamorgan is supposed to have a drinking rep & Hull is supposed to be a rough area? Of course this is just what I've read so if anyone has any opinions or suggestions as to good places to live/study I'd be grateful
thanks!

Re: Need help deciding which universities to apply to
I can't really comment on many of your choices however, I live by Coventry and it's not the best of places to live. Keele is in the middle of nowhere, and it's a large campus. Your best bet would just be visit the places and see what you think of them.
You could also look at places such as Chester, Sheffield Hallam, Birmingham City (although many 'ex-polys' do have high entry requirements for Psychology such as NTU) -

Just so you know, I go to Keele and it isn't in the middle of nowhere at all! It's a 15 minute walk/5 minute bus ride from Newcastle under Lyme city centre - loads of shops and bars. It's a half hour bus ride from Hanley where there's a decent shopping centre and choice of bars/nightclubs. It's also only a 45 minute train ride from Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham

It's a decent uni - the campus is described as a 'bubble' because it really is like a little town in itself. The union is also famous for getting some really decent acts - Feeder, Pro Green, Lethal Bizzle, Rizzle Kicks etc all in the last year (not bad for a small uni!)
I've heard good things about Lincoln too from people who go there - know nothing about your other options though.
thanks!
