How important is the LNAT in your application?
    Imagine this scenario:

    You've applied to Oxford
Predicted A*A*AA for your A levels in 4 strong, traditional subjects
    Straight A*s at GCSE level
    Brilliant personal statement!

    but...

You've scored well below average for the LNAT - DISASTER!

How will this affect your application? Would they still accept you (perhaps with more stringent A level requirements)? Would they completely reject you?

lol the fact that Cambridge doesn't ask for the LNAT makes this scenario very hard to imagine.

EDIT: More realistic to talk about Oxford, and in that case if you were to get 16/17 on the LNAT you're unlikely to get to the interview stage.

    Imagine this scenario:

    You've applied to Cambridge
    Got the interview
Predicted A*A*AA for your A levels in 4 strong, traditional subjects
Had a fantastic interview, talked a lot, felt relaxed, showed your enthusiasm towards the subject

    but...

You've scored well below average for the LNAT - DISASTER!

How will this affect your application? Would they still accept you (perhaps with more stringent A level requirements)? Would they completely reject you?
well, other than that Cambridge don't need it but I understand where you are coming from completely? I've just posted a thread asking about how to prepare for it. How are you preparing for yours? I want to feel confident about it and atm I have literally no idea
