How to make nails grow faster?
Hi! I really want my nails to grow by the summer so I get long, square nails! Also, is black nail polish good for summer or should I go with light blue? (I change every week! )

I wish there was something to make them grow slower, mine grow so fast and it's annoying.

File them, condition them and maybe have them manicured, if you can! Healthy nails are happy nails.

Hormones? Maybe as you grow up, they'll grow slower.

Thanks! Is there any kind of conditioning creams? Will cocoa butter work?

Not 100% sure, but if you Google 'nail conditioner', there'll be a load of options ranging from cheap to ridiculous. I wish mine would stop growing. I stopped biting them last summer and I have to cut them literally every other night now>.<

Shellac nail polish makes my nails grow crazy quickly...I'm not sure if that's just me though

Use olive oil. Rub it in, your nails grow quicker and will also be healthier and stronger!

I think the main thing is to make them stronger... If they're stronger they will break less and then you'll have longer nails for a longer time.

My nails grow quite quickly, I moisturise and cut them every so often, so they remian strong. Also I have never worn false nails, which most likely will help them

It's a bit like hair - if you want long nails you have to avoid split ends. File them every week, moisturise your cuticles and wear a strengthening base coat (I use Nails Inc Kensington Caviar). I only get snaps about every six months doing this - unfortunately I got one today so I'm going to need to patch it!
