Re: How do you want to be "buried"?Well i would hope no one would want that any time soon.. but um.. maybe ashes or maybe at sea yeah..(Original post by Scienceisgood)
Hey Guys;
Well, I was just wondering but, how would you want to be "buried" I use the term loosely because I don't know what else to call it if you are cremated and having your ashes scattered or anything.
So, how do you want to be buried?
Body Buried?
Cremated and ashes buried?
Cremated and ashes scattered?
Buried at sea?
How do you want to be buried?
Do not like the thought of being buried alive or being burnt alive.. *Kill Bill - never being buried alive*
Sea would be peaceful and it would be nice too.. umm but maybe be like the guy in Seven Pounds who donates their stuff..
a tree or flowers on a grave where ashes lie would be nice too.Last edited by hannahchan; 23-06-2012 at 13:25. -
Re: How do you want to be "buried"?
I'd like my body to be buried out in the country somewhere.
I quite like the idea of it being in a forest clearing with no marking at all. But people would know it was somewhere in that clearing so if they wanted to come and visit my grave they'd just come and sit anywhere in it that felt right.
Though actually I've always liked the idea of having a tree planted on my grave (again in a rural setting) and that being my grave marker. -

I've actually thought about it in a morbid amount of detail.
I want to be cremated in a small service for family and closest friends. Then I want my ashes put into fireworks and have a massive BBQ/memorial service which is more positive than a funeral, at the end of which the fireworks with me inside would be let off. -

I want to be buried in the ground (preferably in a cemetary but you can't be fussy if you happen to die in a jungle, sahara desert etc). It would be nice if my family members did the funeral prayer for me according to Islamic tradition but even if they don't I highly doubt that I will be coming back to haunt them.

Re: How do you want to be "buried"?
I'll be honest and say I don't care what happens to me after I'm dead! I'll be dead, it's not like I'll be making any complaints about whether I'm buried or cremated.
However, I'll go with whatever will be cheaper, which I imagine is cremation and scattering.
My grandfather always makes me laugh, he says "just put me on the bonfire then chuck the ashes down the toilet, it makes no difference to me!" -
