BPD - would you agree this is hard for me??
People with BPD are scared so being left alone/abandoned so would you agree that it's hard on me that I can only see my girlfriend once a week and I have to be supervised by an adult at all times

Why do you have to be supervised by an adult?

Because a few weeks ago I cracked and I went into my bedroom and pulled out a razor and started to harm myself when my girlfriend was there and her father is now scared that I will pull out a razor and do it again or do it to her. (I would never ever do it to her)

Sorry to hear that. Though I don't know what BPD is, it seems that you need to see the doctor immediately. Not mean to be rude, but you can't make sure that you crack again.

I see, thank you. You need to see a doctor, they can help. When you do see your girlfriend show that you're able to be calm and relaxed and fine. They will start letting you see her more then, or maybe see if you can have more supervised visits and say how upsetting it is for you. It might help, they're just trying to help in the best interests to protect both party's.

She is the only person who can keep me calm its just on that day it didn't work. They don't really believe it is BPD they just think I'm in a mood with everyone, a doctor comes to my house every Monday to talk to me so I'm seeing him later.
Even if I show I am calm and I improve they will still be the same they hate me and they don't like me seeing her so it's hard really

And do you recognise the power of belief? And do you recognise that belief is a choice? Consider the preacher who believes it is his duty to save you.

Is this from an internet diagnosis?
I dont think I have borderline personality but apparently i do. Im being forced to go to dialectical behavioural therapy. Have you been referred? You can go for me if you like it sounds like a pile of *******s.

I guess you could say its from the Internet
For ages I was being bad and I thought it was just completely normal then I started to get depressed (the doctor said it was desperation) then I started to have anxiety attacks (again this was diagnosed by the doctor) so I decided to look into it and I showed all the sighs mood swings, unable to sleep, seeing things in black and whit and do on...

So now pretty much he is trying to get these people to take me away from my mouthed :/

Its not really hard on you, the precautions are for both of your safety. Maybe in time theyll relax the arrangement

I can see how that would be hard for you. I have BPD and when I can't see my girlfriend or people I am really close to I panic about abandonment and that if they aren't with me then they must hate me, and I get very jealous, so yes I can see how it would be hard for you. Could you talk to the dr who sees you about how you feel? Or the person who diagnosed you with BPD, ask them what your care plan is? Maybe DBT or CBT could help you?

So it's not just me, I get really jealous, I absolutely hate all my girlfriends friends because they see her more often then me.
I have but they just say deal with it, it could be worse, you too clingy etc ill talk to them again but I think I'll just get the same answer

Who is this your talking to? Is it your GP? I imagine if you've been diagnosed with a personality disorder you would of seen a psychiatrist, as they are the only ones who can diagnose this type of stuff? Would you be able to get in contact with them or another mental health professional like a CPN or social worker who may be better trained than whoever you are talking to. Even if you aren't with a mental health team you should be able to get therapy or counselling from your GP which could help you.
