The greatest movie scene
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Re: The greatest movie scene
Got to be this. Clark Gable is just so full of awesome and then Vivian Leigh with 'tomorrow is another day!'
There are so many great moments in this movie. Another of the best lines is 'I swear by God I'll never be hungry again!'
Another of my favourite film moments is when Gandalf is all 'fly you fools' It's just awesome for some reason :')
And obviously I think Snape deserves a mention in this thread. The 'Prince's Tale' scene from DHP2 is stunning :'( -
Re: The greatest movie scenepossibly my favourite tarantino penned movie, incredible cast. Oldmans scene was also great(Original post by King Kebab)

Re: The greatest movie sceneI agree with this!(Original post by EmperorMustard)
For me though, the last few minutes of Requiem for a Dream is some of the most powerful cinema ever made.
Impossible to watch this part if you are feeling even a little down or sad. Always gives me a horrible feeling on the inside. -
Re: The greatest movie scene
in order to prevent time from being torn asunder, i will now post a couple of lotr contenders:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywZ5uo_3Y_A (the part where they fall together is, by far, the most 'epic' scene ever created. epic gets overused, but it's meaningless when trying to describe this battle of the gods!)
