Hi,
Has anyone released any mouse and keyboards that can be used with the xbox 360?

There seems to be a product which can connect to your pc/laptop to allow keyboard + mouse play: (Simple google search)

However looking at the description and some common sense, I'm pretty sure it can get you banned if used. It would make it so unfair in FPS to use Keyboard + mouse against controller users.

Also you never know how well it actually works, could be crap.

You can get a 'chatpad' to go into the controller.

Very useful to typing messages.

Keyboards work,

I had a wireless keyboard connected to my xbox for a long time (wasn't anything special but was Microsoft so I don't know if that helps)

So i used that for messages and putting in codes.

After a bit more searching around online, I came across this thing which I am considering:

It is quite pricy, but I'm an avid PC gamer and can't stand controllers...
If it is bannable on xbox live, then no problem, I will just use it for single player and for local multiplayer with friends.

I will also do more research into the eagle eye because that also looks like a good alternative...

To the people saying about chat pads for messaging, I meant primarily that I want to play FPS games with a keyboard and mouse.

the xim 3/xim edge or any m/kb adapters wont get a ban on xbl/psn.
instead of xim 3, get the xim edge
its the same as xim3, just without the screen and $70 dollars cheaper (~£40), and its newer, and easier to use (also has better features)

Any usb keyboard will work with the xbox for typing messages etc. For gaming, you can't use a keyboard/mouse
