Who thinks they failed their a levels/ as levels???
So i was really depressed about not revising hard.... and i know i completely failed alll my exams, and so i wont be shocked if i get 4u's for as level...
I know its all my fault but for example in maths i could do the questions in the book, but when it came to the exam coz i didnt do past papers i know i completely failed, but i want to continue maths definetly next year, so im plannin to do extra work in maths for summer... HOWEVER i feel so embarassed and when the results come out in august im going to be so embarassed, my teachers wont probably even let me continue next year, my mum is going to kill me!!!
U see im really depressed, and i was just wondering who else is on the same boat as me???
(plus i sooo dont want to resit the whole yr again....)

p.s.please dont be negative im already pissed with myself, the last thing i want is a person judging me, without knowing me...

Happens every year. Maybe it will help you buck up your ideas and you will perform a lot better next year!

I don't think I've failed but I'm definitely worried I haven't quite got my uni grades.

I haven't got any experience but good luck to both of you and I hope it all turns out OK - even if not this August, but in the end :hugs:

I don't think I've failed but I'm absolutely terrified I haven't met my Uni grades! Every time I think of it I just get a wave of anxiety shoot right through my body. Even typing this my hands are shaking.

I've made no back up plans whatsoever, i pinned all of my hopes on getting into one uni and now the future looks bleak at best.

Just try harder next year now you know what's expected of you. There's a guy I just took exams with who didn't do as well as he wanted last year and this year he's been a totally different person inside the classroom. Be that person- if you really want to it won't take much effort- you'll not have to force yourself.

I believe you should live for the day as well though dude! Exams are important that's correct but... You could die tomorrow! (I know it's drastic). There is no point worrying about it, things will work themselves out

Although I am not in the position that I feel I have underperformed in my A-Levels, I do empathise with you, as up until my GCSE year I felt that way in the 'end of year exams' every year, although obviously they aren't so important. Either way, I am somebody who has completely changed their work ethic, and my best advise to you is to look to the future rather than dwell on the past.

In the end at least you have realised that you approach this set of exam wrong and can improve for the next year. You may not need to resit the whole, you could target a few exams to resit and it could really boost up your grade. I know maths has a lot more but my friend resat a History exam and went from a D to an A by working for it. I wouldn't worry about it for your summer until you know what you really do have to work on. Revising maths a bit might be good though if thats what you want to do.

You never know how much you remembered in the exam or maybe low grade boundaries could mean you didn't do as bad as you think.

I worked so hard and I don't think I failed but I can honestly say my last two exams are going to be 2 or more grades lower than the rest ... and I worked the most for them

Try not to dwell to much on the past, you've done the exams , u can't do anything about what's already happened. What's done is done, try not to think about it, I've probably failed 2 of my exams (I only had 4 & one of them was a resit)
