I'm my final year of GCSE's at secondary school and really want to do philosophy at Cambridge, is there any advice I can get from anyone on what to pick for A level's and how hard the course is.
My friend is going to be doing philosophy at Oxford. Can't tell you much about the course but start reading lots of stuff that interests you! Genuine wider reading is the key to a successful Oxbridge application.

Wait and see what A Levels you enjoy before you make a definitive decision as to your degree choice!

But in general 4 analytical subjects.

Lots of philosophy is about logic and (practically) being able to explain and analyse it eloquently in writing. So, in addition to philosophy, something like maths or a science makes sense, as would a social sciences (economics et al), a humanities (history et al). You should also seriously consider a language - you cannot do justice to a degree in philosophy at Cambridge if you cannot read French or German.

Why? I am taking both to A2. Unsurprisingly, I have been predicted an A* in both of them.

    There's only one science there.

And your definition of science is what exactly?
