Asking a school to support me in fundraising
So, I'm trying to raise over £2000 to help orphans in poor countries.

I was thinking of asking local schools, as it is quite relevant as we will be helping children.

I was thinking of asking the headteacher to run a non-school uniform day, where everyone pays £1 to come in no uniform.

But what benefits can I suggest this has for the school?

Maybe we go in and give a talk about how the money will help?

    But what else?

    Please help.

    Thanks

Our school has non-uniform days all the time to help for stuff like that and other charities. People just come in and do an assembly on it and show what the money will go towards.
Surely it doesn't have to have a benefit for the school?

    Ah okay, thanks!

I thought that maybe they might be a little reluctant if they got nothing out of it :/

I guess what they get out of it is being able to look charitable and showing that they help out with stuff.
