Age. As you age, your reflexes aren't as sharp any more and shots that at your peak you'd have pulled off in your sleep just aren't a formality any more, and the sooner Fed realises that it's a mental game with himself, the sooner he can compete again imo.

Then again I'm not exactly a tennis critic or anything, but that's just my take on it.

I hope Roddick has good run. I'd love him to win it but I can't see it happening. I wouldn't be surprised to not see him in the second week, especially with a potential third round against Ferrer.

I'm liking the look of Kohlschreiber vs Haas in the first round.

I will stick my neck out a little. A lot will depend on his health given his recent injury but if he's fine then I'm tipping Tsonga to reach the final against Djokovic.

I'm supporting Nadal as I've always done. Really loved him style of play. Fast shots, insane spin, great athleticism.

I would love a Nadal vs Federer final. They were the best. Two amazing players with different philosophies in tennis fighting it out. It was truly magical.

However, the realist in me expects a Djokovic and Nadal final. I'm not too confident with them as Djokovic seems to dominate Nadal on anything not clay.

Yeah I think its an advantage for Nadal that wimbledon comes so soon after the french open where he virtually owns every year. No doubt that gives him huge confidence, espicially having beaten one of his big rivals in the final. I think this is one of the reason why he's been able to compete so well against Federer at wimbledon. He's always managed to beat in a major final just before, thats bound to have an impact, and probably most notably in 2008 - federer would've probably been better served if he didn't make it to the french open final back then, no doubt that thrashing was still inside his head in the wimbledon final just a couple of weeks later.
