OK, so, the Libya intervention. British KIA: 0. Seriously, we were so short on casualties that most sources list a guy killed in a car crash on the way to work as one. Yet that mission helped remove a despot and prevented the mass murder of some 800,000 civillians in Benghazi.

    How was that bad exactly?

It actually fitted with 2/3 of your listed aims: British soldiers remained alive and Foreign civillians were saved. As to money, it cost the UK an estimated (MOD estimate) £212 million, or to rephrase an estimated £265 per resident of Benghazi saved. You can't put a price on a human life, but £265 is an amount I'd happily pay.

Nope. My sources are variously MOD records and assorted UK newspapers. Gaddafi's threats to benghazi and its occupants was rather well publicised. I would advise a brief survey of wikipedia, you will find its articles on the conflict thorough and well sourced.

So you believe only in self defence?

Disagreed with Britains decision to go to war in WW2 then?

Millions died, food was rationed, buildings were destroyed, people were forced to go to war with threat of imprisonment. If avoiding WW2 would prevent all that then yes.

WWII prevented the spread of Nazism. Enough said.

Yep. Let the Nazi party exterminate every Jew in Europe and wait until they've beaten Russia so they can give us their undivided attention. I'm sure that would be much better than rationing.

If you have no other policies, surely you would do better as a pressure group? :p:
    My thoughts exactly.

No, this is clearly another attempt to use the name of a generally liked concept to gain a power base. If it is indeed only war-policy you're concerned with, then just make a pressure group like paperclip says - I really don't see why you think you have enough of a framework for a party. :dontknow:

I've got a party for you, internetguru. The 'stop making pointless and unnecessary parties that will never make it into the Model House of Commons in a thousand years even if you paid Angelina Jolie an exorbitant amount of money to suck Metrobeans off' Party.

Why don't you start that one?

What a ridiculous answer! So essentially you were prepared to see all of Europe fall under the jackboot, then recharge their forces to invade Britain? Then, and only then could they fight back?

Any historian could tell you WW2 was inevitable, Hitler's thirst for liebensraum meant it was always going to happen.

And no, Nazi Britain would not have stopped rationing or people going to prison
