God wouldn't make a mistake. Would He?
The god of Abraham spawned Christianity.
Sending his "Son", that he should die to redeem mankind of sin. That is pretty heavy ****.
This God is all powerful, all knowing etc. So really there is no chance that he has made a mistake.
Along comes Muhammad, who has revelation from this same God.
    God doesn't make mistakes.
    Islam is false.

    Wut?

How have you gone from god sending his son to die then Muhammad having a revelation all the way to Islam is false? In order for you to make that conclusion you would have to assume Christianity to be true to deduce Islam is false. You can't really say both are true then one is false based on that contradiction because the Christian message isn't carried across in Islam. And the Islamic idea isn't upheld in Christianity.

If Islam were true, then God made the mistake of promoting Christianity, God wouldn't make a mistake, WOULD HE?

If Islam were true then yes he did send down 'Christianity' but the message was distorted by man. Leading to the final revelation from god in the Quran so really it isn't his fault. If that's the case, god hasn't made any mistake.

Therefore God would have known that the distortion of the message would happen, so why would he then bother to send down his Son to die?

Not if he was working within time. Humans have free will and everything. Also in Islam god doesn't have a son. Only messengers and prophets. You're mixing the two religions together to try and prove one false.

Also, some people disagree with jesus' crucifixion as they believe Jesus was simply raised to heaven by god. But I'd rather a Muslim clarify that than me.

If God is all knowing, He would have known before he revealed to Muhammad, That Christianity was to be corrupted by man, therefore the point about sending his Son down to earth was pointless. If Islam rejects Christ as the Son, Then Christianity is false. If Christianity is false then Jesus can not be a revealed prophet.

The two religions exist under the banner of the same god.

You're still mixing the two religions together.

If Islam is true then god did not send any son because he doesn't have one. (internal rhyme ) He sent down his first prophets but the message was corrupted by man. Until the final revelation from god in the Quran. Jesus was still a prophet.

If Christianity is true then Jesus is the son of god and Mohammed and his message is just wrong. That's how I see it anyway.

Can you please prove your last statement. It's not something that is just said and accepted. Many people disagree with that statement.

The whole question of why Allah let that happen can be left to a Muslim. I don't really know. Hopefully you won't get the answer 'Allah knows best'.

    Just stop misrepresenting their position.

In Islam, God never sent his down to earth, Muslims view Jesus(pbuh) as a prophet of God and nothing else.

He came with a message, that message like so many others before it was distorted and lost, untill the advent of Islam.

So yes I completely agree, Christianity as it exists today, and as Mohammed came to refute, was and is false.

It is proven by the fact that, Islam accepts, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, as prophets of the one true God. Or do you believe that two Gods revealed to these Prophets?

Has Judaism been distorted by men then?

So then you're assuming Islam is true. That means Christianity is false and Jesus was never his son. The message was distorted and lost because of man's fault. I don't understand how Christianity = false = Islam = False. That doesn't work.

As an athiest I do not believe in God, therefore I think all religions are false interpretations for the Universe.

Cool. What's your point in relation to mine? I think you've gone off topic. You can't deduce Islam is false because Christianity is.

Wrong. God does not exist, all religions are false. This is not an attack solely on Islam, it is on the existence of God.

If God made man in his own image, and man makes mistakes, then surely God must make mistakes too!

God is claimed to be perfect, and therefore he makes no mistakes. In the story of Noah, God kills everyone except Noah's family so that he could start over fresh - sounds like a mistake to me, unless of course he planned to murder right from the start. Not sure which scenario is preferable - omnipotent incompetence or premeditated genocide.
