Calling back after applying for a job?
Hi, so over the past week I have applied for a bunch of retail jobs for over the summer, and was wondering how long I should wait before calling back to see if they have looked over my application.

I don't want to appear pushy, but at the same time I want to come across as enthusiastic. Should I even phone in, and if I should, how long after applying/the closing date should I wait? If anyone has any personal experiences in this, that would be so welcome!

    Thank you

Wait for them to call, chances are they had a lot of applications and still need to filter through them all. Give it another fortnight or so.

Thank you I got a call from one of the places today, so that is quite promising I suppose.
