    Cost of Living at University
In October I will be going to university in Oxford. I know how much accomadation and food will cost, its the other things I want to know about so I can work out how much I'll need. How much do you spend on books, entertainment (going out, cinema ect.) and other general living things. Please give it as cost per week if possible.

    Thank You

P.S. If it makes a difference to cost of books I will be studying maths.

I've heard around it's about £250 a week (for everything, books etc). That's what the UCL prospectus says, but it'd probably be less for being in Oxford.

It all comes down to what kind of lifestyle you want to pursue; if you want to live comfortably, I'd say around £200 a week would be fine.
