    Surely the main point of more TVs is so that you can watch different channels ... why should the BBC benefit from this

    How on earth do you plan on enforcing this?

    TV licensing is already **** at enforcing it when you only need a single TV.

    This is an absolutely disastrous idea. Firstly, how is it going to be policed? I'm pretty sure that detector vans go on aerial signal, and even if the family are running 8 TVs, there's only going to be one aerial. Secondly, how is it going to be policed in regards to laptops etc.? I'm pretty sure MAC addresses can't be viewed from outside, so it would be impossible to know how many were being run. People pay enough already: NO NO NO!
