I'm sure you know this, but bear in mind that if you do this and just wake up and drive home in the morning that there is a strong chance you'll still be over the limit to drive(Original post by nmccann)
Any of the members done this? I've gained really mixed views on this from my friends who do it not very often and was wondering has anyone here done it and is it illegal?
This was sent from TSR's iPhone app, as I couldn't be arsed to turn on the laptop. -
Re: Sleeping in your car after a night outThat's pretty cool(Original post by EGjeff)
We used to do this on a weekly occurance, used to either park up on a quiet residential street or the NCP car park - take a load of pillows and a duvet, nice kebab to get you into the mood for sleep then hit the hay. Got some funny looks in the morning but hey, and as for comfort - you'll sleep anywhere when you're battered.
Police occasionally tapped on the window but it was pretty obvious we weren't going anywhere.
Funny though, people who I've met from the cities can't fathom it whatsoever, it just seemed the logical thing to do when you live out in the sticks.
I have done this in my A3 once after a nightout in another city but it isn't comfy to sleep in but does the job lol. Problem was there was 3 of us. So me and my mate had a crap sleep in the front seats but our friend, she is quite short so somehow had a decent sleep in the backseats!
