What should I expect with these A levels?
I am in Year 10 and currently doing GCSEs. I am strongly considering taking the following subjects: Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

The primary reason for this is because my favourite two subjects at school are science (all 3 sciences since I took triple science) and maths (I'm doing core maths, statistics and FSMQ additional maths) so I would like to know about the difficulty, exam styles, content, enjoyability etc involved with these subjects. I am not sure about the exam boards I will be following but I'd like to know about any experience you have had with these subjects.

I took those, good strong choices but physics is a bit crap really, the lack of maths made me want to strangle my teacher. Chemistry is interesting but be prepared to put in the hours to memorise lots. Maths is very good and generally further maths is better than maths which makes it very very good

Good choices, but expect a lot of work. Chemistry specially is a lot stuff to remember (so I've been told).

I do take M, FM and Phy though, so I can vouch for those. I can almost guarantee in Further Maths they'll be modules you'll like and others you don't, but it's all good fun really. Physics can get a bit dull at times, but it's good overall.

You have a whole year to think about this, what I wanted to do changed several times in year 11.

A levels are not the same as GCSEs, you will find it is a big learning curve, I got A*s in all my GCSE maths modules but Hated maths A level.
