Re: Best band of all time?These are the 'best selling of all time' according to Wikipedia. I actually only listen to one of these bands regularly... I just felt best-selling was the most accurate way to do it.(Original post by kog)
Pink Floyd for me, Led Zeppelin are a close second though, not sure how you've chosen the list you've created, it looks like you've just chosen your personal favourite artists...dont think a poll works for music, a it is so varied for different people -

Re: Best band of all time?I went for Pink Floyd, there aren't many other bands that come close to masterpieces like The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon (though Radiohead are getting there), and that's leaving out their 'lesser known' stuff like Meddle, Atom Heart Mother and The Final Cut (which is criminally underrated IMO)

Re: Best band of all time?Of the choices, Pink Floyd probably edges it as my favourite. That doesn't stop Queen being the best though - pretty much a perfect musical group; Freddie Mercury probably does go down as the special ingredient though.

I get that this is completely up to opinion, but I thought it would be cool to find out the most popular bands of you TSR'ers
My personal favourite is The Beatles, but I get that many prefer others.
If there is a band that you believe I have forgotten then please comment, and like other comments to show your opinion on said band.
