Re: Instrument players!!Why isn't a piano classed as an instrument?(Original post by Nia_Beth)
Quick question for a questionnaire in my A2 DT coursework - how many instruments do you play? Instruments like guitars, trumpets, saxophones etc. not like pianos (although drums is also valid because of the use of drumsticks)
1) one
2) two
3) three
4) four and more
Gracias

Re: Instrument players!!I said in a post earlier on that the piano doesn't count....(Original post by Anetata)
I have put 2 down but it's more like one and a half?I realise that you can't play half and instrument, but I've played violin for 15 years, and I can play the piano but nowhere near to the standard of violin though... I guess that still counts right?
So it would only be one instrument in your case, but don't worry
thanks

Re: Instrument players!!Cool. I'm like you too(Original post by Angryification)
I've been playing guitar [electric - rock, metal and neoclassical] for five years, the drums for a year [only a bit though] and the piano for two years [voted 2 instruments then]. I find that a lot of guitarists have good keyboard skills too.
I self taught myself acoustic electric and bass for about 4/5 years now, and played drums for about a year too, and play the piano. I always recommend to people learning the guitar to play the piano first - for some reason, the two instruments compliment each other.
Thanks for sharing by the way (everyone
