    Instrument players!!
Quick question for a questionnaire in my A2 DT coursework - how many instruments do you play? Instruments like guitars, trumpets, saxophones etc. not like pianos (although drums is also valid because of the use of drumsticks)
    1) one
    2) two
    3) three
    4) four and more

    Gracias x

So only HAND HELD instruments or instruments that need equipment (e.g. drumsticks)

Why isn't a piano classed as an instrument?

    EDIT: Ah

I'm making a multiple instrument storage system and so a piano isn't classified, although piano books can be stored too....

Guitar, Bass, Trumpet, I dabble with a ukelele, and piano but that doesn't count

I'll list the instruments that I play and own.

    Cornet
    Trumpet
    Flugelhorn
    Guitar
    Flute
    Trombone
    Violin

There are a couple of others that I play but don't own (owned in the past, lost interest etc) but I guess that wouldn't really be of interest to your project!

I meant to put 2, not 1. I can play the recorder, and sort of the bass guitar.

I have put 2 down but it's more like one and a half?I realise that you can't play half and instrument, but I've played violin for 15 years, and I can play the piano but nowhere near to the standard of violin though... I guess that still counts right?

I said in a post earlier on that the piano doesn't count....
So it would only be one instrument in your case, but don't worry thanks

    I put four

Viola and violin I've played for a quite a few years (10, I think), and I decided I should also count Bass Guitar and Recorder, though I taught myself those as part of Music courses in school (Standard Grade and Higher, respectively).

I've been playing guitar [electric - rock, metal and neoclassical] for five years, the drums for a year [only a bit though] and the piano for two years [voted 2 instruments then]. I find that a lot of guitarists have good keyboard skills too.

    Cool. I'm like you too
I self taught myself acoustic electric and bass for about 4/5 years now, and played drums for about a year too, and play the piano. I always recommend to people learning the guitar to play the piano first - for some reason, the two instruments compliment each other.
Thanks for sharing by the way (everyone )

One - Violin but is voice counted as an instrument? And piano but it's not counted.
