A2 Biology Coursework - Edexcel
Hi

I'm doing my A2 coursework on how contrast affects visual acuity, and I'm slightly confused. I gave my teacher a first draft and she said I had written it like a 'story', which isn't good. Apparently I need to bullet point everything and she told me to look through the exemplars to see what she meant.
But this exemplar is similar to mine: https://qks.southlakesfederation.co....n/exemplar.pdf
Anyone have any advice on how to structure it in words, layout, etc? And is anyone doing a similar experiment?
Thanks! -

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.
They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.
All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.
What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more... -

It's hard to get high marks in A2 Biology coursework if you use animals / humans in your investigation. It's to do with variable control, to which you are very much limited as it's hard to control the lives of people / animals to ensure they are all very biologically similar and to ensure that they are equally affected by their environments.
I would reconsider if I were you. Plants are a good one to do. To be honest, ingenuity isn't rewarded at A Level. As long as you tick boxes is all that matters. Keeping it basic is the best way to achieve as many marks as possible.
