My problems with most people on this site.
    1. Stop asking if X university will be lenient on you if you miss your offer. PHONE UP THE ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT NOW AND ASK. How are people on this site going to psychically know if you miss you offer by one grade whether you'll be accepted into university or not? By phoning the university you'll get a direct, no nonsense answer which will be correct, rather than what Joe Bloggs on here thinks, which is probably completely wrong. You will be seen as a more proactive student, which can only be a good thing.

    2. Stop asking what grades you need to get into X university. Is it really that hard to type 'Brighton ac' into Google and find the entry requirements section, or to use the UCAS course search? Why are people on here going to be able to psychically tell you that geography at Brighton needs BBB?

    3. You do not need to use an apostrophe to pluralise ANYTHING. It's videos not video's. It's GCSEs not GCSE's. It's exams not exam's. I thought people on this site went to school, but by the looks of it, over 90% of people on this site do not.

    4. Nobody cares about your religious views. If you have a religion then good for you, but nobody who is an atheist needs you to quote the Bible or Qur'an at them. The atheists are not going to magically convert to your religion because of what you post on this website.

    5. Yes, your personal statement is important; do not apply for vastly different courses. What university is going to give you an offer for nursing when half of your personal statement is about paramedics? You only have to look at the personal statement examples around this site to realise why so many people get rejected from university. You need to show universities that you are dedicated to what you claim you want to do, not 'Course X looks good, but at the same time course Y which is completely different looks fun so consider me for both.'

You forgot how many people here seem to think that the only worthwhile grade is an A*...

This thread will get buried and you'll see the same problems pop up again and again. If you get that annoyed by it just stop viewing such threads. Stay out of the religion forum and don't respond to people who ask help for universities. It's the nature of an online forum... a lot of things get repeated. Just help when you can, you aren't obliged to do anything :nah:

    1. Stop asking whether X university would be lenient on you if you miss your offer. PHONE UP THE ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT NOW AND ASK. How are people on this site going to psychically know if you miss you offer by one grade if you'll still be accepted into university? By phoning the university you'll get a direct, no nonsense answer which will be correct, rather than what Joe Bloggs on here thinks, which is probably completely wrong. You'll also be seen as a more proactive student, which can only be a good thing.

    5. Yes, your personal statement is important, and no do not apply for vastly different courses. What university is going to give you an offer for Nursing when half of your personal statement is talking about Paramedics? You only have to look at the personal statement examples around this site to realise why so many people get rejected from university. You need to show universities that you are dedicated to what you claim you want to do, not 'Course X looks good, but at the same time course Y which is completely different looks fun so consider me for both.'

    5. You do not need to capitalise every word of a thread title, for example 'People's Lives Are Facebook.' Learn how to write properly and then maybe you'll be taken more seriously by everybody.
    6. Learn how to make a list properly.

What's it like to be so perfect?

I may not be the brightest crayon in the box but " You do not need to use an apostrophe to pluralise ANYTHING. " - should that not be everything, rather than anything?

It should be 'anything', I'm afraid. Apostrophes should never be used to pluralise words.

    I love you.

(And I can't believe we get newsletters and PMs from people who run this site with grammatical errors).
