    GCSE Grades
    Hello

Basically, for my GCSES I have been predicted 2 A*s 7 As 1 B. If this is the case and this is what I am actually going to get, would this be good enough of getting into a good med school?

    Nah, you'll need at least 14 A*s at GCSE and 5 A*s at A2.

(You'll probably be fine; focus on those AS grades.)

Depends what your A*'s were in, ideally biology and possibly science or maths instead of european media and removing peaches from anus's.

You will need to do PE at A level, that's what my biology teacher said.

Thinking about it as a GP for some of the current chavs in society then the peaches in arse gcse may be useful.

This is a load of cr*p, Don’t do PE! It has no relevance to medicine whatsoever, and it is quite often viewed as a ‘lesser’ A-level, so the better med schools will not even view an A* highly. I would do maths, and a few sciences, chemistry is essential and biology is also quite important. Then the last one can be a free choice, but make sure it is a good quality A-level

Your Biology teacher is giving you false information. It's like when I heard that the drama teacher at my school said you need drama to do Medicine. Completely incorrect. P.E involves Biology but is irrelevant for ANY University. You NEED Chemistry to do Medicine in the 1st place, not Biology. Biology is the 2nd subject that is desired, however there are some Uni's that allow you to get away from doing Biology (but very few), as long as you are doing Maths or Physics.

GCSEs do nothing towards university, no matter the course. Provided you got B or above in English, Maths and science (which most people have) you have the same chances as everyone else. Any higher grades are irrelevant.
A-levels and equivalent (along with experience) are all that matter to universities
