    Going to Stockholm any tips?
Hello, I'm going to Stockholm, Sweden for a couple of weeks. Very excited! I'm staying at a backpackers place. Could some people (even Swedish people) recommend some good places to hang out such as bars and clubs that would be fun?

Yeah, but you always meet people at these kind of backpacking places. It's my little Arctic adventure!

If you are 20, take alcohol, spirits and wine, out with you.

Do you have to be 21 to get in anywhere?

Learn at least some Swedish; don't come across as an ignorant. Get a little "Teach Yourself Swedish" book and aim to work through it before you get there. Even just 20 hours of practice will be very useful.

You can buy/drink in bars/clubs at 18 but not buy alcohol (wines/spirits/spirit mixers) from the state alcohol monopoly until 20. Supermarkets sell beer/cider at 18.

Some places use 20 as an admission age. More sophisticated places use 23.

Done and done. I have learnt the most useful phrase in Swedish: "Du är en söt flicka!"

Take a boat out into the archipelago, tis very beautiful. There are some great museums too if those are your thing. Dovas is a cheap (by Swedish standards) bar which is usually rather popular by young people, it's close to Fridhemsplan underground station. Skansen is also worth a visit :-)

I'm surprised this wasn't the first response.
