I've basically reached my daily tweet limit and i'm confused as to what this means. Does this mean that limit will be lifted when it gets to 12 am or does it mean it will be lifted after 24 hours? I know this sounds really pathetic for asking but I am curious haha

I'm amazed you have anything to tweet about if you spend that much time updating stuff on there.
I reached my 1000th tweet the other day, and i've been on twitter fr nearly a year, and amazed how i've managed that many.

I didn't even know there was a limit. My cousin posts several hundred times a day (don't ask) so I didn't realise there was.

I've just looked it up and there's a limit of 1000 tweets per 24 hours. I assume it will end 24 hours after the posting of the first of that 1000.

My guess is that OP got into several conversations on Twitter and so kept replying to posts then those people replied back etc. Also there were probably a few where they posted 3-4 maybe more replies because they couldn't fit everthing they wanted to into the character limit.

I don't see how it could be possible from just normal updates by themselves.

haha thanks for the help (and sarcy comments) but i'm not in twitter jail anymore. I've been on twitter for a year too roughly and this was the first time it's happened as now i've finished my A Levels i have so much time on my hands

Out of curiousity, what were you doing? Single tweets about your day, replying to others, mass load of retweets? Did you really do 1000 tweets?

The daily tweet limit is for people tweeting from PC's or computers. I've experienced the same thing.

If you want to avoid the limit, it's best to tweet from a mobile device using a Twitter app.
