Once again they've missed the mark, the whole point of the inbetweeners was to be the middle people, not the lowest of the low but not amazingly popular and they've just got a bunch of complete rejects.

I was hoping that they wouldn't make an exact copy, but it looks like that's exactly what they have done. Excluding Neil's hippy hair doo and the chubbier Jay.

I'll judge it when I watch it. Maybe they'll pull it off this time. But probably not.

Didn't know it was being written by the writer of arrested development, still have little hope for it though.

Don't think this will be too bad. Could be similar to American Pie if it's done well.

I had no idea they were making a US version of this show.

If based on the same concept it COULD be good but there is something just so inherently British about The Inbetweeners that I can't see the yanks doing it justice...done properly this could have a lot of potential and would probably do well but from the looks of the photo it just isn't going to happen!

The one thing they certainly get right is Mr Gilbert, who is fundamentally British.

If they set this in a tipple suburb, well, US suburbs are a tab different to ours, where their "middle class" house is a detached quasi-mansion.
