Need to buy a suit, help?
Hi, I have a leavers dinner/prom coming up, I'm not good at buying clothes , and i need to buy a suit. I would also like to be able to wear the suit for weddings/funerals and if it lasts long enough maybe even a job interview.

My budget is about £250, preferably a bit lower, but could stretch a little higher if I found something I really liked.

I like the look of this.
Is this alright? what do you think? Is CK an alright make for suits? I really have no idea.

    Please recommend me something!!

Go in store and get it fitted. Go debenhams or john lewis or other stores. Ck is an ok make.

You don't want it to look too big or small on you so go in store and get it fitted. don't buy online.

Never grey, never pinstripe if you want to use it for multiple things and if you can see it's shiny then don't bother. The best suits are like black holes, consuming all light that comes near them.

Have a look at this website, I have bought like 4 suits from them and the quality is excellent. It's at a cheaper price than a lot of high street places and they do free life-time alterations. Whether that means making them bigger or smaller! Not a bad deal eh?!

    Moss have some nice suits.

But make sure you go to the shop to try it on. DO NOT try an just buy one online.

One thing to bear in mind with moss was that lots of the suits they had came in sets, ie bottoms and jacket together. However because I have fairly large shoulders and a tiny waist I couldn't get a suit in there, but it wasn't on all of their suits and is still worth a look in there.

When you go suit shopping make sure you have an idea of how a suit should fit, look online (there are some great resources, just search) or go with someone who knows a little about suits.

I do like that suit though, you could also try burton (a bit cheaper, but did have some modern suits), Marks and spencer was fairly good as well as was debenhams

Marks and Spencers suits for £99, the slim fit suits fit so nicely (MAJOR NOTE: Try in store first, DO NOT try to get it from online), they look more than a £100, the material quality is good as well, same goes with the trousers. You also get a complementary M&S carry bag for suits for when your traveling etc.

I've just bought one for next week - i'm attending an a level programme in canary wharf, so i wanted to look the part! haha

    Really worth a look
