I got a new pc with two new monitors.
They're both the same and I connected one of them with an hdmi cable and I had to order a dvi cable for the other and it just came in today but when I tried hooking them up in standard windows video settings it said unable to save display settings but they both work fine .. just not at the same time.

also forgot to mention, the monitors/cables/graphics card are all fine .. so its just windows settings =/

What's your graphics card?
If it's ATI, you got to set up eye infinity in their software settings

I tried following that but I stopped at
"Using ATI Eyefinity Technology to Create a 3x1 Display Group
(Landscape)"
Nothing happens after choosing "Create Group"

Go to desktop management, creating and arranging desktops, then detect the displays first.

Eyefinity is only for creating a single monitor out of three or more seperate monitors, you shouldn't use it for just setting up an extended desktop.

Which graphics card are you using? Which monitors are you using?

Do you have to select the input type within an OSD on the monitor? Did you attach both monitors to the graphics card and not to the onboard graphics? Do they both work individually? Have you tried swapping the cables? Are they just stuck in a stand-by mode?
