You have a 2:1 so far. I found my third year easier than my second because I had more freedom in choosing my modules. It is easily possible for you to get a 2:1 overall - have faith in yourself
yeah i cant choose my modules- they´re set. and then there´s the dissertation...im not smart enough for that.

It's not really about 'smartness'. I guarantee if you set out to be organised next year and do the reading required, you will get a 2:1 overall!

But be lazy and put your future in jeopardy.

Thank you and goodnight (sure hopes this is read in the evening)

I would have thought that some level of intelligence would be required to come up with a new idea for research and to investigate it, and write 9,000 words about it in a coherent and academic manner, but thanks anyway for the encouragement. I haven´t got high ambitions anymore so it´s ok.

    Hi,

I´m in my second year and have just received my results. They are as follows:

    Module 1 (Sociology): 80% 15 Credits
    Module 2 (Sociology): 74 15 Credits
    Module 3 (Sociology): 64% 15 Credits
    Module 4 (Sociology): 58% 15 Credits
Psychology Statistics and Practical: 50% 30 credits.
    Biological Psychology: 63% 15 Credits
Social Psychology of Groups: 52% 15 Credits

In my exams i got 65% (Social Psychology) and 63% (Biological). It´s not great I know, but I was just wondering what degree d'you guys think it´s possible to get with these grades.

    Thanks.

Edit: If you´re going to neg can you kindly tell me why? :lolwut:
Let's average out your 15 credit modules so that they're all at 30 credits.

    74 and 80 = 77 at (30 credits)
    58 and 64 average = 61 (30 credits)
    52 and 63 average = 56.5 (30 Credits)
Your other module was 50 (30 credits)

Now they're all worth the same
The average of all of these is 61.125 so if you were finishing now you'd JUST get a 2.1.

    Good luck for next year!

    52 and 63 average 57.5, not 56.5.
