Can Someone Check My Planned Tube Journey?!
    Hi!!

I have to get the tube which I've never done by myself before and I was wondering if someone could look at my plan and tell me it's right!!

I need to get to South Kensington from Waterloo and the TFL website is telling me to take the Bakerloo Line north to Picadilly Circus then take the Picadilly Line down to South Kensington.

    Will this work?

    THANK YOU!

Yes it will work, but it will probably be quicker to take the Jubilee Line to Westminster and then the Circle/District Line to South Kensington.

this ^ if you're travelling at peak times it's better to take the shorter route. it can get quite crowded on the inner-city underground lines!

Just check that the Jubilee Line is running on the day you want to travel - I know that it has planned engineering works this weekend.

Yeah, the Jubilee Line should be fine tomorrow since the engineering works are this weekend.

You probably won't get a seat in rush hour. You'll probably need to stand up and you'll probably be squashed against 5 or 6 other people. It's all part of the experience

haha don't be nervous. just make sure you count how many stops you have to make before you have to get off! there's quite a short distance between stations especially in central london - you could get through 5 stops in about 5 minutes normally!
