    No sadly not, I'm trying to teach myself the basics but not got very far yet. I just absolutely love the sound of the language and the culture of Brazil particularly. I just love it and can't wait to start learning it in just over a year (fingers crossed)
    I lived in Portugal so I speak quite alot. I'm a Brazil buff too The BBC Languages site has a part for portuguese and that's pretty good for basic phrases and stuff. Boa sorte!

    Just want to ask if the D in Chemistry AS will effect my application?

    No Elio, the D in Chemistry will not affect you as it is a hard subject and unis don't look at it too sharply; your other grades are fantastic. Also if there is an alevel in Albanian-then maybe you could do that.

    Extras: Volunteered for a Summer in a charity shop. Part of the debating club, eco group and charity group at school. Won a short story writing competition and was part of a debate which was runner up in BBC's Question Time Debating Competition. A great swimmer and I am a trained lifeguard. Participated in a Heart Start course and taught my year first aid. I have practised Taekwondo for many years now and I play the clarinet and guitar.

    Edinburgh is one of my choices if I don't get into Glasgow.
