Okcupid is full of pretentious pseudo intellectual girls who spend too much time posting pretentious crap on their Tumblr page. There isn't much variety or choice on there at all.

I will take arrogant, pretentious pseudo-intellectuals over people who are dull, ignorant and proud of it every single time. It's better for a person to aspire to intellectualism, even if they fall short, than it is to shun anything mentally taxing. Besides, a lot of people get labelled 'pseudo-intellectuals' by jealous folks who aren't very clever, when they're actually perfectly reasonable people interested in demanding topics.

I have no problem with intelligent girls (I'm friends with loads of them at a top 15 uni FFS), it's when they stray into arrogance (like they regularly do on Okcupid) that they start to piss me off. 90% of them seem completely detached from the real world and I have met a handful of people like this at uni, but only a handful. Ok Cupid is full of them. The number of girls on there who label themselves as bisexual is absolutely ridiculous, I'd say at least 1 in 3 girls on there claim they are which is just completely disproportionate to the rest of the population.

Yes there are a lot of braindead chavs on POF who I avoid like the plague, but the sheer number of girls on POF means there's a huge variety. If you think there are no intelligent girls on POF you have not looked very hard at all.
