About £40 a month at uni (Farm Foods), goes up a lot at home since my parents pay and they only go to Tesco, Sainsburys etc.

Find one. They are dirt cheap. You can buy however much of whatever you want and you don't have to worry about the cost.. within reason. -
Re: How much do you spend on food?
I'm not sure because I don't shop all in one go. I cook meals at a time really so have three meals on the go at once (then cereal and protein bars and fruit and stuff like that) and do them in batches of 4-6 severings (bulking sized servings) then when one is done I got to the shop and get whatever I need for another meal.
Looking at what I've ate the last few days I'd guess £20-35 a week depending on what I have. I'd think a little under £30 is average so maybe £110 a month
I'm not sure I want to find out what it'd be like to live off stuff from farmfoods. I get my Linda McCartney sausages there but I think that's the only vegan thing they have other than veg -

Re: How much do you spend on food?Like I said I get my Linda McCartney sausages there but I think that's the only vegan thing they have other than veg. Would you want to live on sausages and frozen veg? I wouldn't(Original post by bmqib)
what's wrong with it? asking because i don't know anything about them
I can't comment on whether anything else is good. Their Linda McCartney sausage price is unbeaten. Their frozen veg is sometimes not the best quality- like you get bits of pod in with your peas and they aren't the fullest flavor peas- but plenty of it is the same as anywhere else cause sometimes frozen veg is frozen veg and quality just can't vary much -
Re: How much do you spend on food?Oh yeah, Farm Foods isn't a good place for vegans. But if you eat meat then there's a mountain of cheap stuff. Other than meat subs, 2x Hovis for £1.50 might be the only good useful deal.(Original post by BKS)
