I do the same except I have 180mg of antihistamines :/(Original post by Foo.mp3)
Mine's been fine.. I take a quarter anti histamine in the morning, use eye drops before heading outside and then have a nasal spray in the evening so my nostrils are nice and clear through the night

Mine's been awful (went out the house for 5mins to the local shop) and could not stop sneezing... -.-"
The Flixonase nasal spray has helped me a lot, but Loratadine tablets don't seem to work on me anymore...
Any suggestions guys, for other tablets that work quickly?

Re: Hayfever Sufferers: QUESTION
I used to suffer with hayfever really badly. Then over the last few years it got to the point where I don't have any symptoms. I have probably grown out of hayfever now. However I agree pollen was really bad this week, I had an itchy throat, though nothing like what I have had in the past.
I used to find Loratadine worked the best. My GP used to give me 48 tablets and 'double dose'.
Then I would also have a nasal spray to use also, to help with sneezing. -
Re: Hayfever Sufferers: QUESTION
Like many people on this thread, my hay fever seemed to have died down a lot in the past few years but I had to stand in the school field for an hour on Wednesday (something I usually manage to avoid) and by the time I got inside it was as if my eyes had exploded. Quite a lot of the kids were the same.

Re: Hayfever Sufferers: QUESTIONI'm exactly the same. I had it bad when I was younger but thought I had grown out of it. It's come back with a vengeance this past week or so though- feel rubbish.(Original post by amime)
Yep, mine had disappeared for the last 4 or 5 years but this past month has seen it come back for some reason.

Everyone I know with hayfeaver has been suffering with it more than usual this past wee while.

Re: Hayfever Sufferers: QUESTION
GM crops spreading their GM pollen perhaps as it has been rather windy on some days, which may/may not have a more potent effect on hay fever sufferers than traditional pollen.
I have some annoying thing where when I lay to go sleep I start coughing, some serious breathing problems at bed time which is very frustrating, may be hay fever, may be the damp, or maybe I have a virus
Will see if these menthol drops and beconaze do anything. -
So I take it you're Portuguese?(Original post by Portugeezer)
Oh totally experiencing the same thing. I'm practically dying. Had to stop wearing my contact lenses.

Re: Hayfever Sufferers: QUESTION
Mine has been really bad too, sneezing and itchy/mouth/throat/palate/eyes a lot and several eczema flare ups (that rarely happens except when it is REALLY bad), despite taking on 1 day like 3 antihistamines throughout the day because it was that bad, and that was with me being inside for most of the day. I'm now paying the price for that though as it's ended up with me getting a chest and sinus infection (not really surprising given how hard I end up sneezing/blowing my nose to get all the stuff out, I've probably traumatised all my sinuses - I've had like 2 nosebleeds because of it already) as the stuff is so horribly thick, it's disgusting >_<. I do wonder sometimes with hayfever just how our bodies manage to produce so much mucus, it's just wrong, lol.
