Simple question on Welsh domiciled students
    Hi,

To my understanding, Welsh domiciled students will recieve a grant from the welsh assembly to cover the tuition fees above £3290 (up to £9k). This means that welsh domiciled students only end up paying £3290 per year to study in any UK university, for the 2012 academic year intake.

My question is; Is the welsh assembly planning on subsidising students, in the same way, for the academic year 2013-14?

    Many Thanks in advanced

Surely someone out there must know the answer to this question?

It's for fees above £3465. And considering the only information available on the Student Finance Wales website doesn't have information for 2013/2014 - it's unlikely that anyone on a student forum will know!

As far as I can find out the Assembly are giving a definite answer in August this year. But at present it is unsure if it will continue. Keep an eye out in August on the Assembly website or in the press. Hope this helps
