Re: Best Foundation?
I really want to try Luminous Silk, maybe I'll treat myself on payday

My current favourite foundation is Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. I have combination oily/dry skin and it's fab for me. Even the lightest shade is the wrong colour (too dark) so I mix it with Illamasqua Skinbase in white. Love it! -
Re: Best Foundation?
Chanel vitalumiere aqua
its dewy, buildable coverage, and looks veru natural.
Also bobbi brown do one, forgot the name but it was veryyyyy nice, very dewy and awesome!
ps anyone know a good quality drugstore foundation? I always invest in high street brands as Im fussy about what goes on my face. It is costly though, so any amazing suggestions? The reason I ask is you can never get samples in superdrug/boots.
Thanks. -
Re: Best Foundation?Well, I am combination.. my nose & cheeks are very dry however oily in the tzone throughout the day. I like a dewy fresh finish, and a good coverage as I have quite alot of redness.(Original post by La_Mignonne)
What skin type are you? What exact finish and coverage?

Re: Best Foundation? No good drugstore ones I know of in particular I seem to come out in a rash whenever I use them. Maybe try the MaxFactor one that Natwaah suggested ^^ ?(Original post by 079)

Re: Best Foundation?Clinique has been my favourite so far purely because they have a nice finish but they don't tend to last too long even with a good base.
I've tried Mac, I think it's quite thick and cakey. Good for a night out if you're taking alot of pictures but as you said not good for dry skin or for day to day use... Maybe I'm just too fussy!!

Re: Best Foundation?
Clinique is a good range, it's a little more expensive but it is really good. It doesn't feel too greasy and provides a good base, it also doesn't look like you've caked youself in it either
(I'm pretty sure this has been said but not harm in reinforcing the point
)
I would also recommend the clinique face wash, it's amazing! Within using it for a couple of days it cleared my skin up completely! It also leaves your skin feeling really fresh and soft afterwards:-) -
Re: Best Foundation?this!(Original post by Natwaah)
If you want something with a dewy finish that's light but has good coverage, try Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation. It lasts a while and has spf10 which really helps. It's around the £10 mark, give it a try!
also max factor seem to be the only high street brand with a shade that doesn't look orange on very fair skin - the creamy ivory shade isnt noticeably darker than my skin. not as pale/neutral as I'd like, but I sometimes mix with a white base to brighten it, like the barry m foundation one. -
Re: Best Foundation?Seriously? Worst foundation I've ever tried, hands down. Just goes to show how one product can be great for one person, and awful for another!(Original post by XxelliexX)
