I find dream matte mousse really good, I know some people hate it but it's the only one I've found that doesn't make me ridiculously orange (my skins very pale) or really oily and spotty.

Horrifically temperamental! It's true combination, with dry patches on my forehead, eyelids and chin but oily, spotty and blackhead covered around my nose and mouth. This foundation is wonderful! I've never came across something which is so natural yet full coverage highly highly recommended! And I've tried practically every foundation out there

Anyone tried Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation?
I heard it is amazing - I'm using Benefit Oxygen Wow at the moment which I find a little greasy
Hey I decided to check the Armani luminous silk out. I got her to apply it and finish it with powder so that I could see what its like throughout the day.
    Verdict:
-feels very smooth and velvety, really nice texture
-Coverage is also good, its buildable in areas you want to conceal more
-It doesnt look cakey at all, even if you apply loads!

    Cons:
-It is dewy so not very good for oily/combibation skin (I
have dry/combination- so kind of oily in t zone)
I think if its used with a good primer, the oily issue can be resolved.

    It costs around £38.
Tbh I wont buy it, I'll invest in another bottle of Chanel vitalumiere aqua :P

I'm using Oxygen Wow too, which I quite like, but like you end up a little oily halfway thru the day and have to use blotting papers. Altho tbh I get this with most things I use as I have an oily T-Zone, am trying to regulate it with some new skin products. Have you tried the Hello Flawless powder though? That really is the best powder I've ever used, I recommend checking it out. Flawless finish every time and leaves your face really soft.

Not tried Giorgio but would like to. In the past I've tried Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Laura Mercier, Max Factor, lots of Rimmel ones, other Benefit ones, mineral ones from BellaPierre and Lily Lolo plus others I can't remember and I'm yet to find one which I'd definitely repurchase.

Bourjois Healthy Mix gets loads of praise and is a reasonable price. The next ones I'm planning to try though are either the Estee Lauder double wear (I think they do a lighter formula now) or the NARS Sheer Matte which looks lovely.

Only tried drugstore brands, my favourite is Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, but Maybelline Dream Satin is good (way better than Dream Matte), and Collection 2000's Perfect Finish is surprisingly good too.

Laura Mercier have a lovely foundation...can't remember the name but it's the only one they do in a glass jar as opposed to a tube. goes on so smooth and dewy and coverage is just perfect. It is buildable but i find it too heavy for that and not necessary as it is good enough without.

YSL have come out with a new foundation, i really wanna try it. (Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation)

    Chanel vitalumiere aqua
its dewy, buildable coverage, and looks veru natural.
Also bobbi brown do one, forgot the name but it was veryyyyy nice, very dewy and awesome!

ps anyone know a good quality drugstore foundation? I always invest in high street brands as Im fussy about what goes on my face. It is costly though, so any amazing suggestions? The reason I ask is you can never get samples in superdrug/boots.
    Thanks.
Rimmel wake me up foundation is.supposed to be very very good! As if bourjois healthy mix

    Estee Lauder Double Wear.

I've tried a LOT of foundations, drugstore and high end, and it's the one I keep going back to. Depends on your skin type and what coverage you're after, though.
I've heard good things about this foundation does it offer a lot of coverage and also does it work well on dry skin?

Seriously? Worst foundation I've ever tried, hands down. Just goes to show how one product can be great for one person, and awful for another!
I usually buy it when I'm feeling poor as I need quite decent coverage and it has a nice colour on me.

But when I'm feeling rich I buy Bobby Brown Foundation Stick :sogood: I only have a tiny bit left so I'm having to scrape it out and use it as concealer :cry2:

I use Lily Lolo mineral foundation at the moment. It's amazing for light coverage and makes your skin look good without it being obvious you're even wearing foundation. I don't think think it's right for me though so I'm looking to change it when it runs out. Could anyone recommend a better alternative for me? I have pale skin that gets greasy easily and is sometimes prone to spots, but I don't want anything too thick and obvious on my skin. Most liquid foundations I used previously made my skin worse, so I'm a bit disillusioned.

I have really acne-prone oily / combination skin, and I've tried quite a lot of foundation. So far, i really like Chanel vitalumiere aqua and Bourjois healthy mix foundation.

I also like Nars sheer glow for a night time look, but sometimes it gets really patchy on my skin... and it gets really oily if i wear it for a whole day.

I'm quite lucky with my skin - only the occassional spot, however my skin can get quite dry. My absolute favourite foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear - the shades match skin tones well, it glides on, and looks absolutely natural. It gives skin that dewy look.

My friend has quite bad skin - very acne-prone, and I suggested this foundation to her - and she loves it! So I would think that it's an all rounder

Benefit play sticks is amazing! It gives a natural non greasy coverage but not so natural that you can't see it/wears away. estee lauder is pretty good aswell but I found it pretty greasy so changed to playsticks.

    Estee lauders invisible fluid foundation!

Its really light and doesn't feel like your wearing foundation at all and most importantly to me doesn't look like your wearing a paste of make-up. Its good for everyday in my opinion and is a light/medium coverage but you can build it up. It does seem to adapt to your skin tone too and hasn't broke me out etc

EL are really gd at giving out little bottles of sample foundation, think im going to try the doublewear/ or doublewear light for special occasion use!
