Re: Uni accomodation
I applied for accommodation as soon as I got the pack which was early May I think and also may be due to the fact that I firmed late because they had problems with the system (if you ask me, thats just a poor excuse to make my life harder).
Is this going to be the official 2012 accommodation thread for hall confirmations? -
Re: Uni accomodationGosh that was long ago.. erm.. I must have firmed it around febuary/march time because I got the application pack in early april. I sent off the application pack around the 11th or 13th of April(Original post by ironandwine)
out of interest, when did you apply/firm & when did you send off your accommodation application?
thank you!
also, congrats! so nervous about not getting halls
No problem!
Thanks! Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll get good halls. James Watson, Margaret Rule and Trafalgar are apparently the best ones, considering you applied early enough I reckon you'd get one of those. I heard they send them off in batches, so I got the first batch, the next batch is next week and so forth. It says on the form that I have to confirm my room with £200 by 23rd July, so you'll get it before then I suppose. Good luck!
Thanks, haha. You'll get it next week I assume. -
I got Trafalgar hall(Original post by naijaboi1994)

Really? I don't think I chose any of those as priorities. I wouldn't worry about it you'll get it soon(Original post by joezarkos)
I emailed them as I still hadn't received my confirmation. I was successful but they said the following:
Those that have received theirs already are generally those that:
- had specific requests such as single sex / quiet areas
- are allocated to smaller halls.
