Re: Underweight - nothing shifts it!(Original post by Orphan)
Thank you all for your ideas and support. I love my morning run and the athletics I do (high jump mainly) so I think it going to have to be slightly more in rather than slightly less out.
Yes I did get some support from my school (and then the uni) to cope with losing mum and dad. It was living on my own during year 13 that caused the weight loss (too busy with school work and running a house to eat properly).
It's a bad habit to get into, being always on the go. Work and housekeeping or not, we all need to eat. Do you practise self-care regularly now that you've finished Year 13, like set aside some time for yourself every day (besides your exercise) to just chill out and relax? Any chance you could set yourself half an hour aside to eat dinner maybe, an hour or two devoted to your favourite hobbies? x

No problem Orphan
how have you found the year? It's common to hear of people having dramatic weight fluctuations while studying, from both the stressful nature of university and the often busy lifestyle that accompanies it. More-so when there are pre-existing difficulties such as a stressful incident before going. It could be you want to continue focussing on optimizing relaxation time?

Re: Underweight - nothing shifts it!I'm surprised that H&B are selling those, considering they are meant to be a "health" or "alternative medicine" shop. But yeah, eat calory dense foods ie: foods that have a lot of calories, like chocolates or flapjacks but you wouldn't get full from them by just having one. I mean 600 calories can either be a full meal or a flapjack(Original post by hvh)
These are the flapjacks: http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pag...d=2986&cid=446
I used to only have the original flavour, but they do them in a very wide variety!
