Gap year, in between University years?
I'am supposed to start University next term, I'm pretty much in, since I've met the conditions I was required to get, to get a place. But I'm really beginning to get a little tired of education/studying and what not. Since I've left it late for a gap year this year, I was thinking about going through my first year of Uni, taking a gap year abroad, and then coming back a little more refreshed and willing, and going on to finish the last 3 years of the course. So is it possible to do this?

Re: Gap year, in between University years?
Unless you've opted to do a sandwich course (where mid-way through you take a year to do work experience), this isn't the usual way of doing things. If you want a break from education, why not do a gap year this year and start uni in 2013 instead? The place you've chosen might have issues suspending your studies without good reason. Check up with the uni and see what your options are.
