Re: POLL, do you have better qualifications than your parents?Both of my parents got worse A-Levels than I should have come August 16th.
My mum has a BEd and an MSc while my dad has a Geography degree (BSc I guess?) and various other courses
So I have better qualifications than they did at my age and I hope to get equivalent or better qualifications to them over my lifetime. -

Re: POLL, do you have better qualifications than your parents?My mum dropped out of school when she was 14 and my dad finished high school. So at the moment I'm on equal footing with my dad, will beat him if I get the grades for uni next year

Re: POLL, do you have better qualifications than your parents?My mum and dad did O-levels and I'm not even sure how they did in them - probably not well. So I reckon I've had better grades than them since I was 15.
Since then I've also got a bunch of good Scottish highers, a first class degree and am doing a PhD... so yes... better than them.

Re: POLL, do you have better qualifications than your parents?I answered yes and then realized that my mom has a HNC and will be finishing an OU degree in 2014 and my Dad has a certificate of social sciences, whereas I've got A Levels. So I plan to have equal qualifications with my mom, I guess? Because she's doing a degree and I'm going to do a degree?

Re: POLL, do you have better qualifications than your parents?Neither of my parents have any qualifications so by even completing my A-levels, yes, I do.
However I'll probably never earn as much as they do, my dad easily reaches about 47k and my mum not much less.
