Recieved a Threatening Phone Call
Today, I answered my home phone and an Indian guy and says "Are you the homeowner" I said no, then he says "you better pay me my £5000 today or else" then hanged up..
No one in my household owes money, plus the person called with a private number..
Should I report this to the police?? -
Re: Recieved a Threatening Phone Call
You need to contact the police immediantly. Call 101 and you'll be put through to your local force's non-emergency number.
If everything you've said is true, (and I have no reason to doubt why it wouldn't be) then this is a very serious matter. I hope you aren't too upset or worried.

Re: Recieved a Threatening Phone Call
Sounds a bit prank-y to me, with the hanging up after the threat. I'd mention it to the police anyway - they might have phoned a few people so there could be a little case building.
Bit of an empty threat though, no details of who to pay the money to or anything
