    Well if it reacts with the acid, then the reaction rate is higher. Just the same as higher concentration leads to higher reaction rate.

    This is because pH is a measure of the concentration of H+ ions in the solution

    Think about what happens in the reaction. What would a higher concentration mean for the particles involved in the reaction?

    Technically you cant tell unless you have empirical data.

    Buy its faster and slower respectively

    In each of these reactions the H+ is reduced to H2, hence the reaction rate is dependent upon the concentration of H+ as it is a reagent.
