What's your favourite society at University?
Discussion for current and prospective students about social life at university, societies, what stationery and bedroom items to buy and anything else relating to life as a university student.

What's your favourite society at University?I went to the Imperial Open Day today and loved it! (Not going to get the predicted grades unless I beg though, and I feel like I've failed my AS's,
but thats a different thread!)
Looking through the union society guides, I saw some that really interest me, such as:-
Assassin's guild - each term you are given a target that you have to track down and shoot with a water pistol, you're being hunted too!
Meat lovers society - the appreciation of all things meat (not an innuendo) and meat resturants around London - basically an antivegetarian club.
The Old Bo'(?) - looking after Imperial's mascot, a car called Bo'.
These all seem fun and exciting, what other socs are there at your university that are a bit out there, or are better than you expected! -

I love the Tea Society at mine!
For our socials we go and have full cream teas at one of the tearooms in town, 'tis awesome. 
I also really enjoy First Aid Group.

I went to Leeds University open day last week, my personal fav was the 'Quidditch soc' :')

What exactly happens in it? :') Perhaps it's quidditch, but running around with a stick between your legs instead of flying? 
For our socials we go and have full cream teas at one of the tearooms in town, 'tis awesome.
