Anyway, the fact that you find it impossible to even provide a modicum of real data to this argument shows that you don't actually have an argument to use against me.
    So in summary:

    1) You make a radical claim, that "Apple innnovates, everyone else follows".

    2) You refuse to so much as read any of the provided articles that demonstrate otherwise.

    3) You're calling me a "fanboy".

    OK.

No, in summary, you made the claim that 'iOS borrowed heavily from innovations made by Android and/or Microsoft' and when pressed to specify what these innovations were, you vomited a bunch of links to YouTube videos and articles without making any actual comment yourself. Furthermore when pressed to make a specific comment, you've refused to on three separate occasions, leading me to believe that you've never had an adult mature discussion in your life.

Here's how an adult puts their point across:

    Step One: Make claim.
Step Two: Specify reasons and provide back up to said claim.
Step Three: Provide source to validate points and data used
    Step Four: Await rebuttal

    Here's what you did:

    Step One: Make claim
Step Two: Vomit up a series of incoherent links to YouTube videos and Articles without quoting any of the material
Step Three: Ignore any and all calls to specify from the material used what your point is
Step Four: Repeat Step Three ad-infinitum.

No no, I don't want you to post a bunch of YouTube videos made by amateurs. I want you to list here, right now what exactly these 'innovations' are specifically that you claim Apple copies in iOS5/6 from Android and/or Microsoft.

If you can't stand up to proper debate, I'll take it as a given that you've seceded your point and given up on this pointless rant you've gone on
Calm down. Jesus christ its only a debate. Not life or death!

I agree! Which is why I took exception to such ardent fanboyism.

    Android, isn't a phone.

    It's an OS.

****ing hell, the OP is absolutely pathetic. Why are you bothered what phone other people have? Apple "haters" are just as bad as Apple fanboys.

...really? Civilisation has fallen so low that it's come down to fighting/childish name calling over a block of plastic?

    Really now?

Don't be silly. It's very common - in English - for words to be omitted in phrases when they are less important. In the same way you reduced '[mobile] phone' to just 'phone', the poster reduced '[android] phone' to 'android'. You knew what he meant, so grow up.

For all we know they did buy an actual android. I expect owning a robot would be a lot cooler than an iPhone.
