Or social groups? Do the groups ever overlap, have the people in certain groups met the friends in the other groups?

I'd say I have 4 groups- Friends from secondary school (aka friends that live in the local area), friends from college, friends from uni and the last group consists of facebook friends, (only talk to a handful of them, most of them being my friends from.primary school days)

I'd say my friends from secondary school r my closest friends. However recently I feel as tho we've been growing apart. I rarely ever see them now, and when we do meet up, I feel as though there's not much we can talk about, as if we're not as close as we once were. Over the last year I've felt like an outsider to them, which is really sad bbecause these r my closest friends, friends that I should be able to meet up with everyday

My college circle is a very small circle, only in contact with two people. Im quite close with them, but again dont see them too often.

My university circle is quite as new one, I have some friends I can see myself keeping contact with and some I won't be keeping in touch with. We're quite a big group, and we're all very different people, but filtering through them I can say I get along really well with 3 of them, 2 of them I will stay in touch with for a while. I dont see them much out of uni due to everyone living all over the place.

None of my separate group of friends have ever met each other.... Their very different groups, and I can't see these groups of friends ever getting on with each other
None really, I don't have any close friends, I just have friends who I hang around with IN school, but that's about it I don't go out with them or anything.

I have an amazing boyfriend though, I would say HE's my best friend. So even though I may sound lonely, I never am all because of him, he's all I need.

But yeah I'm hoping to get friends in college

    Three:

Friends from home, who are pretty much all from secondary school,
    Uni friends from my subject,
Uni friends from my accommodation (including who I'll live with next year), with a slight overlap with the second group.

Although I met a lot of people in college who I was happy enough to talk to and hang around with in class, we're not close enough to consider each other friends really and there was no real desire to keep contact, though when I do bump into them occasionally we get on well enough.

3 and they overlap all the time! its annoying because its hard to balance everyone and then they get annoyed when you cant come out all the time :///

Three groups categorised via the use of Facebook -

    1. People who I know and don't necessary like but may be useful in the future.

    2. People who have been randomly added from nights out and are hot. Ugly people get stealth defriended e.g. during an adding spree or whilst they're on holiday.

    3. People I like and/or are family.

I have the usual secondary school friends, college friends and random people I have met. Although people in these groups aren't my closest friends. I have about four friends and we are really close and I've actually introduced them to each other from my different social groups. I'm fortunate that we all get along really well even though they didn't know each other before I introduced them.
