All my friends have been saying that my ankles are very small, they're a little under 6 inches. i just wanted to know what the average size is and if maybe i can get them to be bigger :/ it looks even weirder because i'm 5'5.

I've not measured them but just from observation I have rather chunky ankles Which is odd because I have really thin wrists

Oh man where are those IKEA tape measures which I always seem to lose...brb.

Edit: I'm 5ft 5 and a half and my ankles are 7.5 inches.

My wrists are 5.3!

Depends on your height.

And I wouldn't use myself as a benchmark, I have a tiny frame, tiny wrists, tiny ankles and tiny hands :/

Hun, just be thankful you don't have hugely fat ankles that spill over the sides of your shoes x

I'll remember to measure mine in the morning.

I don't think the size matters much, but if you gain weight overall your ankles may get bigger.

Edit: I just remembered to measure them. They're 3.9 inches. Hope yours don't feel so small anymore!

Can't believe I just got a tape measure out to measure my ankle circumference for you, OP Mine are 8" and I'm 5ft10, so proportionally we probably look similar. I'm sure your ankles look lovely- and besides, people don't tend to stare at ankles when they pass you in the street so I don't think you should worry about them

So since almost everyone's made the effort to measure their ankles and because I got curious of my own measurement, I thought I'd finally join the bandwagon. I'm 5'2 and my ankles are 8". Err is that normal? :/
