    Postgraduate dentistry help!
Just got results for year one averaged 58%!!! With no revision, is this going to look very bad on my transcript for post grad? Even if I get 80% 2nd year?
Worried now hopefully won't look too negative I was told first year doesn't count but..

If you're doing a UK biomedical science related degree, dental schools don't normally ask for your degree transcript. They're normally more interested in your overall degree classification.

Don't I apply in my 2nd year? And I wouldn't receive my overall degree classification until I have complicated the degree?

2nd year results usually dictate your prediction for 3rd year. The 1st year results are unlikely to matter if you do much better during your 2nd year. You apply with your predicted results if you aim on getting in straight after your biomed degree.

second year are more important but when i applied it asked me to put the grade for every module i did. i think if you were absolutely tied with someone else they would look at all your grades and choose who got the best marks to give the offer to
