    Accommodation?
This might sound like a really stupid question, but I thought I'd ask. UCLan don't let you pick your hall, right? So I was wondering, if I don't like the the offer they make me, can I reject that offer and then reapply to see if I get a different hall? I know I can't afford to be too picky, so won't be surprised if the answer's no lol.

    Thanks in advance :)

That's right mate, they don't let you choose where you stay. But if you want to change flats they may be able to do that depending on availability, I think it said they charge you a small fee if you choose to move flats

I got given an ensuite room so I'm not too fussed

You can reject the offer and you might be lucky and be allowed to reapply, but this will probably mean you'll be put to the back of the queue and have to wait a lot longer for another chance. Or you could look into the private halls which are available on campus like Trinity Student Village, Foundary, IQ Kopa, Warehouse or Brunel. Least that way you know what you'll be getting.

Cheers for the answers guys :D

Ideally I'd like to be in IQ Kopa (if only coz that seems to be where everyone else is going), but the UCLan application system has got me a bit confused...would that be university owned and leased, or university registered but private?

    Thanks :)

No bother man! I've been put in Lawson which in a way I like more than being in IQ Kopa. It's smaller so you'd get to know everyone much quicker, but then IQ Kopa has more people sooo yeah

Ah, that's cool to be honest I don't really mind that much where I go, just everyone on here seems to be going to IQ Kopa. Guess I'll just have to wait and see where they put me :P

    Re: Accommodation?
When I applied for accommodation in first year they offered me a place in iq kopa but I wanted to be in a quieter place like boatman's court so I emailed them and they changed my offer for me. I didn't cancel the original one just in case I couldn't get another.
