Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?Yeah I can't wait to get away, my first choice is Leeds I think or Northumbria, so they're massive cities(Original post by Miss Trololol)
Getting away and living in a big ass city. I freaking hate my horrible, narrow-minded little town.

Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?Yeah, you're just irresponsible.(Original post by nosceteipsummm)
Remember that along with the freedom comes the responsibility of making sure you do your coursework, getting to class on time, eating right, not drinking too much the night before an exam, etc. etc. I had to learn this the hard way. -
Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?
Just been to the open day at nottingham uni and I must say it was better than I thought it was gonna be! Although I wasn't wowed by the lectures, the campus (and the women) were gorgeous.
I'm most looking forward to:
-Gaining independance
-Meeting more people who are on my wavelength, and really care about their studies
-Meeting a whole bunch of girls (taking the sciences route swerved me away from most of the girls, who to be honest don't seem that friend-worthy anyway! It's a shock to see so many pretty girls who are going to be reading a science course at uni, can't wait hahaha
p.s. ladies if you care about your studies and are successful, you will appear more attractive).
-Dear person who negged me- Just what exactly in my post deserves a negative vote? Some TSR users are so uptight.Last edited by Halogenation; 29-06-2012 at 19:42. -
Re: What are you most looking forward to at university? As many of them will learn despite what you tell them(Original post by nosceteipsummm)

I'm moving to Glasgow so I'll finally be able to walk down the high street without getting stared at. People in my town kinda view me as a goth. I'm not really goth and I don't see myself that way, I just like wearing a lot of black. It's not my fault they choose to label me.
EDIT: Negative rep? COME AT ME BRO!Last edited by Miss Trololol; 30-06-2012 at 18:39. -
Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?I live in Norwich and can confirm that it is wonderful! The city of dreams.(Original post by emmily95)
Norwich is one of my options, I think. I've never been, what's it like?
I live in Durham which is a small city, is it kind of similar to that? Many people have said that
Having said that, I'm moving away for uni

Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?wow not need to take it so bad. But it's true, it doesn't matter what you tell them now, they'll do whatever they feel, because they already know what they "should" do ^^(Original post by nosceteipsummm)
Can't get no RESCHPECT 'round hurrrrr.
Ah well....half of life is ****ing up and the other half is dealing with it. -

Small, cute, lots of little side streets and quirky shops. Fairly quiet, at least the parts I visited. And now I get the joy of spamming TSR with loads of pictures of Norwich (I do what I want
)

See what I mean about a love affair? It looks even nicer in reality, and when I looked round Norwich it was grey and drizzly so that gives you a good idea of how nice it is. Gets a darn sight more sun that I do. North of Scotland, bleugh.
Never been to Durham but I guess they're quite similar in that neither of them are huge cities, they're both quite little, which I love.Last edited by aspirinpharmacist; 29-06-2012 at 17:30. -

I can't wait to meet a load more people and my future career after! Start of the rest of my life! -

Re: What are you most looking forward to at university?Whilst this seems great at the time, before you know it you've completed 2 years of university and have gained 2 and a half stone and have to spend your whole Summer getting back into shape because you were too lazy and couldn't say no to that greasy chicken kebab and chips.
...not that that happened to me or anything.
